Summary of Action investigated Jeunesse Global, LLC (“Jeunesse”), a multilevel marketing company that sells and markets skin care products and supplements, and discovered a host of issues.  Chief among them are (1) the use of deceptive income claims — both by the company and its distributors — regarding the financial gains consumers will achieve by becoming distributors, and (2) Jeunesse distributors’ use of unsubstantiated health and treatment claims about Jeunesse products, such as being able to cure cancer and other serious illnesses.

As a result of these findings, sent a warning letter to Jeunesse on September 25, 2015 notifying it of’s findings and asking that the company remedy the deceptive marketing immediately.  While the company admitted that “misrepresentations of the kind that [] allege[s] clearly are prohibited by our rules of conduct” and indicated that it “is in the process of adding new fulltime employees to the compliance group in the coming weeks,” the majority of examples of deceptive health and income claims regarding the Jeunesse business opportunity and product lines published in’s databases were still up on the Internet three weeks after sending the company a warning.

Accordingly, on October 19, 2015, filed a complaint letter with the Federal Trade Commission and Florida Attorney General urging them to take action. For more information, use the menu.
