Jewelry Repair Services from Zales

December 2018: This case was transferred to federal court. (Case No. 18-cv-2727, S. D. CA.)

October 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Zales for allegedly deceptively representing that it will repair or replace damaged jewelry for customers who purchase its jewelry repair services if they have their jewelry inspected semi-annually when, according to plaintiffs, Zales refuses to do so. (Lovette et al v. Zale Delaware, Inc., Case No. 2018-00055549, California State Court – San Diego)
