February 2021: Plaintiffs filed a Notice of Appeal regarding the dismissal. (Case No. 21-55141, 9th Cir.)

January 2021: This case was dismissed with prejudice.

July 2019: This case was transferred from state court to federal court. (Case No. 19-cv-1345, S.D. Cal.)

May 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Johnson & Johnson for allegedly failing to disclose that its Baby Powder and Shower to Shower products contain the cancer-causing chemical asbestos and falsely marketing the products are safe and “free of asbestos.” (Gutierrez et al v. Johnson & Johnson et al, Case No. 37-2019-00025810, California State Court – San Diego)
