Kashi’s All Natural Claims

September 2015: This action was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice as a result of a settlement agreement reached in other a similar lawsuit, Garcia v. Kashi.

March 2015: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Kashi. Specifically, the plaintiffs claim that the company falsely labels various products – including Almond Soft-Baked Cereal Squares, Apple Cobbler Soft and Chewy Bars, Berry Blossoms Cereal, TLC Roasted Garlic & Thyme Party Crackers, TLC Pumpkin Spice Flax Crunchy Granola Bars, and Heart to Heart Toasted Oat Cereal – as “all Natural” or containing “Nothing Artificial” when they actually contain synthetic and artificial ingredients. (Hun et al v. Kashi Company, Case No. 15-cv-1391, E. D. NY.)
