September 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Keurig Green Mountain for allegedly deceptively marketing plastic single serve coffee pods as recyclable when, according to plaintiffs, the pods cannot be recycled and end up in landfills because the recycling facilities cannot separate the pods from the general waste due to their small size.
