In May 2018, a class-action lawsuit
was filed against Unilever for allegedly deceptively using slack-fill
ed packaging for its Knorr Pasta Sides Alfredo products. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the non-transparent containers contain nearly 40% empty space. (Fasih et al v. Unilever United States, Inc.
