Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty for Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep Vehicles

In May 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against FCA US LLC for, among other things, allegedly misleadingly advertising that the company will repair or replace the powertrain components in 2006-2009 Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles for the lifetime of the vehicles under the Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty when, according to the plaintiffs, the company systematically refuses to diagnose and perform repairs resulting in consumers having to pay to fix the powertrain components of their vehicles. (Grundy et al v. FCA US LLC, Case No. 20-cv-11231, E.D. Mich.)
