Magnum Exotics Kona Blend Coffee

In March 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against L & K Coffee Co. for allegedly falsely marketing that its Magnum Exotics Kona Blend Coffee contains coffee grown in the Kona district on the Big Island of Hawaii when, according to the plaintiffs, the product does not contain enough Kona coffee to “characterize the overall blend.” Later in March, the case was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice, the reasons for which have not been disclosed. (Faison et al v. L & K Coffee Co., L.L.C., Case No. 19-cv-1248, E. D. NY.)
