Maximum Strength Selsun Blue

In February 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Sanofi-Aventis U.S., LLC for allegedly falsely marketing Maximum Strength Selsun Blue as an “Antidandruff” treatment that “Helps Prevent and Eliminate Itchy Scalp & Visible Flakes” when, according to plaintiffs, the shampoo contains ingredients that cause scalp irritation, hair loss, and damage to hair. (Lewis et al v. Sanofi-Aventis U.S., LLC, Case No. 21-cv-616, N.D. Ill.)
