October 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against McCormick & Company for allegedly deceptively representing that several varieties of its McCormick spice and seasoning products – including Brown Gravy Mix, Turkey Flavor Gravy Mix, and Mexican Seasoning – are natural when they actually contain synthetic, artificial, and genetically modified ingredients. (Holve et al. v. McCormick & Company, Inc., Case No. 16-cv-6702, W.D.N.Y.)
