Mini Max Hose and Pocket Hose
February 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Telebrands Corporation and Home Depot for allegedly deceptively advertising the “Mini Max Hose” and “Pocket Hose” (brands of expandable garden hoses). Specifically, plaintiffs claim that the company represents that the garden hoses are rugged, durable, and strong when the hoses actually burst, leak, and are useless after a “handful of uses.” (Klemballa et al v. Telebrands Corporation and Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., Case No. 14-cv-01245, D. NJ.).
