MLB Prime Subscriptions

In February 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against MLB.com for allegedly misleadingly advertising a full-year subscription to MLB Prime for an introductory price of $79.99 when, according to plaintiffs, consumers are billed more than the advertised price for a full year of MLB Prime. Specifically, the named plaintiff alleges that she subscribed to MLB Prime in July 2016 and was billed again in March 2017 to renew her subscription. (Perry et al v. MLB Advanced Media, L.P. dba MLB.com, Case No. 18-cv-1548, C. D. CA.)
