The Natural Effect

February 17th, 2014

Are you more likely to buy food with the word “natural” on the label? Advertisers are onto you.

If you buy things with barns on them, this is food for thought. As this video says, natural doesn’t always mean natural. In fact, it may not mean anything at all. The makers of this video advocate for organic food, which has stricter labeling regulations. Whether organic food is necessarily healthier is still a matter of some debate, but at least with that word on the label, you have a better idea of what you’re getting.
