Nature’s Bounty Ginkgo Biloba Supplements

March 2017: This case was dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The dismissal was without prejudice to allow plaintiffs to re-file in state court.

November 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against NBTY, Inc. and Nature’s Bounty, Inc. for allegedly deceptively advertising that Ginkgo Biloba supplements will provide a variety of health benefits – such as improving mild memory problems, supporting mental alertness, and supporting healthy brain function – without scientific evidence to support such claims. (Petkevicius et al v. NBTY, Inc. and Nature’s Bounty, Inc., Case No. 14-cv-2616, S. D. CA.).

When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.
