January 2021: A Consolidated Class Action Complaint was filed.

May 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Huda Beauty for allegedly misleadingly marketing Neon Obsession as an “eyeshadow” to apply to the area around the eyes when, according to the complaint, the product is not safe to use around the eyes and causes several adverse effects, including rashes, irritation, inflammation, and discoloration.
