Patriotism sells. U.S. consumers are willing to pay a premium
for products with a Made in the USA label on them. But don’t assume all companies promoting U.S.-made products are following federal rules. The FTC requires that for a product to be labeled “Made in the USA,” or claim to be of domestic origin without qualifications or limits on the claim, the product must be “all or virtually all” made in the U.S. Here are 13 sellers whose USA-made claims have been challenged by the FTC, TINA.org, and others.
