The Packaging of Mike and Ike Original Fruits

October 2017: This case was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice, the reasons for which have not been disclosed.

August 2017:
A class-action lawsuit was filed against Just Born for allegedly using slack-filled packaging for Mike and Ike Original Fruits. According to the complaint, the company uses opaque containers that have approximately 30% empty space. (Buso et al v. Just Born, Inc., Case No. 17-cv-1630, S. D. CA.)

When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.
