Panera’s “Clean” Claims on Bread Products

In March 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Panera Bread for allegedly falsely marketing certain breads and bagels as “clean” when, according to the complaint, the breads contain residue from glyphosate, a harmful synthetic biocide. (Tabler et al v. Panera, LLC et al, Case No. 19-cv-1646, N. D. CA.)
