February 2016: The lawsuit was dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal have yet to be disclosed.

November 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Procter & Gamble for allegedly misleadingly marketing Pantene® Pro-V Expert Collection Advanced Keratin Repair Shampoo and Conditioner products. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the company markets the products as having the ability to repair two years of damage in one wash or two minutes when, in reality, they do not contain any ingredients with the ability to repair two years’ worth of hair damage in the short time frame specified. (Lee et al v. The Procter & Gamble Company, Case No. 15-cv-6516, E. D. NY.)
