A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Keurig Dr. Pepper, Inc. in June 2019 for allegedly failing to disclose that its Peñafiel brand beverages – including Peñafiel Mineral Spring Water – are contaminated with toxic levels of arsenic. (Pels et al v. Keurig Dr. Pepper, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-3052, N. D. CA.)
