Pepperidge Farm Golden Butter Crackers

In October 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Pepperidge Farm for allegedly misleadingly marketing that butter is the only shortening ingredient in its Golden Butter Crackers when, according to the complaint, the ingredients list reveals that the crackers also contain vegetable oils. (Kamara et al v. Pepperidge Farm, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-9012, S.D.N.Y.)
