Plum Organics Baby Foods

In February 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Plum, PBC for allegedly misleadingly marketing that Plum Organics baby foods – including Organic Baby Foods, Little Teethers, and Mighty Morning Bars – are “healthy, nutritious food made from the best ingredients” and safe for human consumption when, according to plaintiffs, the baby foods contain heavy metals and other toxins, including arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. (Gulkarov et al v. Plum, PBC, Case No. 21-cv-913, N.D. Cal.)
