Seating Capacity of 2017 and 2018 Honda CR-Vs

In July 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against American Honda Motor Co. for allegedly falsely advertising its 2017 and 2018 Honda CR-Vs as having a seating capacity of five with 3-point seat belts in all of the seats when, according to the complaint, the vehicles cannot safely seat five people because all three seatbelts in the backseat cannot be properly buckled at the same time. (Schepler et al v. American Honda Motor Co., Inc., Case No. 18-cv-6043, C. D. CA.)
