December 2023: The lawsuit was transferred from a court in California to a court in Utah. (Case No. 23-cv-889, D. Utah)

May 2022: Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint.

May 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against SanMedica International for allegedly falsely advertising the Human Growth Hormone (HGH) supplement SeroVital-hgh. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that SanMedica falsely markets the supplement as able to increase HGH levels by 682% when, according to the complaint, it does increase HGH levels at all. In addition, the complaint alleges that the supplement reduces wrinkles, decreases body fat, increases lean muscle mass, makes stronger bones, improves mood, and heightens sex drive when, according to plaintiffs, the product does not provide any of these benefits. (Pizana et al v. SanMedica International, LLC, Case No. 18-cv-644, E.D. Cal.)
