Simple Green Cleaning Products

March 2021: This case was dismissed pursuant to a settlement agreement in a related case, O’Brien v. Sunshine Makers (Case No. CIVSB2027994, California State Court – San Bernardino).

May 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Sunshine Makers for allegedly falsely advertising Simple Green cleaning products – including the All-Purpose Cleaner, Oxy Solve Total Outdoor Cleaner, Multi-Purpose Foaming Cleaner, and others – as having a “Non-Toxic” formula that is not harmful to humans, animals, or the environment when, according to plaintiffs, the products contain ingredients that are harmful to all three.
