Sirius XM Radio Lifetime Subscriptions

In May 2018, a false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Sirius XM. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the company makes consumers believe that lifetime subscriptions are measured by the life of the consumer when, according to the plaintiffs, the subscriptions are measured by the life of the receiver or automobile and not the consumer. The lawsuit was transferred to federal court in June 2018. (Vaugh et al v. Sirius XM Radio Inc., Case No. 18-cv-10331, D. NJ.)
