Allegations: Falsely marketing that products provide “do-it-yourself” mosquito prevention by killing mosquitoes and eradicating mosquito populations
In May 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against AC2T, Inc. for allegedly falsely marketing Spartan Mosquito Eradicator as a “do-it-yourself mosquito control” product that “eradicate[s] your mosquito population for up to 90 days” when, according to the complaint, the product does not kill mosquitos or reduce mosquito populations. (Consolazio et al v. AC2T, Inc. et al, Case No. 20-cv-3477, S.D.N.Y.)
