Stop & Shop Honey Graham Crackers

In October 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Stop & Shop supermarkets for allegedly misleadingly representing that honey is the primary sweetener in its store brand graham crackers when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients list reveals that the crackers contain more sugar than honey. Plaintiffs also claim that the marketing represents that whole grain graham flour is the primary flour ingredient in the product when, according to the complaint, the ingredients list reveals that the crackers contain more enriched flour than graham flour. (Warren et al v. The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC, Case No. 20-cv-8718, S.D.N.Y.)
