SuperDeck Sealers, Stains, and Coatings

In April 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Sherwin-Williams for allegedly misleadingly advertising that SuperDeck sealers, stains, and coatings for outdoor wooden and concrete surfaces will provide long-lasting protection from weather and ultraviolet rays when, according to the plaintiffs, the products routinely crack, chip, peel, and otherwise fail a short time after being applied and before the advertised time period has passed. (Rusnock et al v. The Sherwin-Williams Co. et al, Case No. 19-cv-908, N. D. OH.)
