Tag Away

Tag Away, a skin-tag remover, claims that it is “clinically proven to remove skin tags.” The Electronic Retailing Self-Regulation Program (ERSP) reviewed the claims and reached a different conclusion.

ERSP determined that the marketer could not support the establishment claims and performance claims

ERSP did conclude that Plymouth Direct could support its claims that Tag Away was safe for all skin types and did not cause pain.

Consumers should be wary of over-the-top claims in any ad.
