July 2020: The case was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled. as to the named plaintiff and When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled. as to the class, the reason for which have not been disclosed.

May 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against AT&T Corp. for allegedly falsely advertising that the price of DirecTV internet, television, and telephone services will be locked in for a period of two years when, according to plaintiffs, the price significantly increases after 12 months. Plaintiffs also claim that AT&T advertises that there are no installation charges, activation fees, and other miscellaneous fees when such claims are false. (Gomez et al v.
