The Room Rates at Hilton Hotels

In July 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Hilton Worldwide Holdings for allegedly operating a bait and switch pricing scheme by deceptively advertising low prices for its hotel rooms during the booking process but then increasing the room rate charged when guests check out of the hotel. (Jesse et al v. Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-4713, N. D. IL.)
