October 2019: The case was dismissed with prejudice because the parties reached a settlement agreement, the terms of which have not been disclosed.

October 2018: This lawsuit was transferred to federal court. (Case No. 18-cv-1470, W.D. Wash.)

August 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Thrive Causemetics and its CEO Karissa Bodnar for allegedly falsely representing that for every one of its luxury cosmetics sold, the company donates a product to help a woman in need thrive when, according to plaintiffs, such claims are not true. (Barker et al v. Thrive Causemetics, Inc. and Karissa Bodnar, Case No. 18-2-21685-1, Washington State Court – King County)
