Ticketmaster’s Policy

May 2019: The case was again transferred to federal court. (Case No. 19-cv-2642, N. D. CA.)

April 2019: The case was remanded back to state court because the federal court did not have subject-matter jurisdiction. Then, plaintiffs filed an amended complaint bringing similar allegations.

November 2018: This case was transferred to federal court. (Case No. 18-cv-6750, N. D. CA.)

September 2018: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Ticketmaster. Among other things, the complaint alleges that the company has a public policy denouncing scalpers and prohibiting bulk purchases and the use of bots when, according to plaintiffs, Ticketmaster solicits bulk purchases from resellers and supports the automated resale of tickets at inflated prices in order to make a profit.
