Tom’s of Maine Toothpastes and Deodorants

September 2021: This case was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice, the reasons for which have not been disclosed.

December 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Colgate-Palmolive and Tom’s of Maine for allegedly falsely advertising toothpastes and deodorants as “natural” when, according to the complaint, the products actually contain artificial, synthetic, and chemically-processed ingredients. (Munsell et al v. Colgate-Palmolive Co. and Tom’s of Maine Inc., Case No. 19-cv-12512, D. Mass.)
