Trojan’s Magnum Condoms “Made in USA” Claims

May 2018: This action was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice as to the named plaintiff and without prejudice as to the class members because the parties reached a resolution, the terms of which have not been disclosed.

April 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Church & Dwight for allegedly falsely advertising two of its Trojan condoms – Magnum Thin Ultrasmooth and Magnum Ecstasy Ultrasmooth – as being “Made in U.S.A.” when the condoms are actually made using natural latex that is produced outside of the United States. (Claiborne et al v. Church & Dwight Co., Inc., Case No. 17-cv-746, S. D. CA.)

When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.

When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.
