In September 2020, a class-action lawsuit
was filed against Trustco Bank for allegedly falsely representing that the bank does not charge overdraft fees if there is enough money in an account to cover a transaction when, according to plaintiffs, the bank charges overdraft fees on certain transactions even when an account has enough funds to cover them.
