Up & Up Hand Sanitizers
In March 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Target for allegedly misleadingly marketing that up & up hand sanitizer “kills 99.99% of germs” and comparing it to Purell products to make consumers believe that its hand sanitizers are as effective and can prevent diseases and infections – including Coronavirus and the flu – when, according to the plaintiffs, there are no reliable studies supporting such claims.
