January 16, 2015: The Division of Consumer Protection provides copies of the consumer complaints to TINA.org.

December 22, 2014: The State Records Committee issues its official written decision requiring the Department of Commerce, Division of Consumer Protection to release the consumer complaints to TINA.org.

December 11, 2014: A hearing is held before the State Records Committee, at the end of which the Committee voted to overturn the Department of Commerce’s decision to deny TINA.org’s request for copies of consumer complaints.

December 3, 2014: The Division of Consumer Protection files a response to TINA.org’s appeal to the State Records Committee.

October 23, 2014: TINA.org appeals the Department of Commerce’s decision to the State Records Committee.

October 7, 2014: The Utah Department of Commerce upholds the Division’s denial of TINA.org’s request.

September 29, 2014: TINA.org appeals the Division’s decision to deny its request for copies of consumer complaints regarding the three companies, explaining that, to the extent complaints contain personal identifying information of consumers, that information can be redacted instead of wholly barring the disclosure of the documents.

September 3, 2014: Utah Division of Consumer Protection denies TINA.org’s request for consumer complaints, stating that the requested records are classified as protected and private.

August 28, 2014: TINA.org sends a letter to the Utah Department of Commerce requesting copies of citations against Vapex and Sinless Vapor, and settlements with OZN Web, as well as consumer complaints filed against all three companies.
