October 2017: This case was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice, the reasons for which have not been disclosed.

November 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Colgate-Palmolive and Tom’s of Maine for allegedly falsely marketing products – including toothpastes, mouthwashes, deodorants, lotions, creams, body washes, and baby products — as natural when they actually have artificial, synthetic, and chemically-processed ingredients. (Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint in 2017.) (White et al v. Colgate-Palmolive Co. and Tom’s of Maine, Inc., Case No. 16-cv-2808, S. D. CA.)
