Westsoy Organic Plus Vanilla Soymilk

In June 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against The Hain Celestial Group for allegedly misleadingly advertising that the flavor in Westsoy Organic Plus Vanilla Soymilk comes from vanilla when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients list reveals that the product contains artificial and non-vanilla flavoring ingredients. Plaintiffs also claim that the ingredients list misleadingly represents that the soymilk contains “evaporated cane juice” when, according to the complaint, it is actually made with sugar. (Marsella et al v. The Hain Celestial Group, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-4936, S.D.N.Y.)
