Wyndham Vacation Resorts Timeshares

In March 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Wyndham Vacation Resorts for allegedly misrepresenting that timeshare owners save money on vacations when, according to plaintiffs, timeshare owners actually end up paying more for vacations. In addition, the complaint alleges that the company misrepresents that timeshare owners have flexibility and options when choosing from available resorts without adequately disclosing that timeshare owners often have to book a year or more in advance and many destinations that are available on public websites are not available on the timeshare owner’s website. (Kirchner et al v. Wyndham Vaction Resorts, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-436, D. Del.)
