August 2019: Plaintiffs moved for preliminary approval of a proposed settlement agreement. According to its terms, class members may receive a cash refund in an amount that depends on the number of products they purchased and the total amount of valid claims. January 2018: Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint bringing similar allegations.
August 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Younique, LLC for allegedly using a multilevel marketing campaign to market products to health-conscious consumers by falsely marketing Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes as “natural” and containing “100% Natural Green Tea Fibers” when, according to plaintiffs, the product contains unnatural ingredients (such as ground-up nylon) and does not contain any green tea leaves at all.
