Yumions Crunchy Onion Snacks

In January 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against 7-Eleven for allegedly falsely marketing that Yumions Crunchy Onion Snacks contain onions when, according to plaintiffs, the snacks are actually corn chips with added onion flavor. Plaintiffs also claim that the snacks contain caramel food coloring to make consumers think they contain more onion than they actually do. (Socol et al v. 7-Eleven, Inc., Case No. 21-cv-194, S.D.N.Y.)
