Zarbee’s Naturals Nighttime Cough Syrup + Mucus

In February 2021, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Zarbee’s, Inc. for allegedly misleadingly marketing Zarbee’s Naturals Nighttime Cough Syrup + Mucus for children as “natural” and “chemical-free” when, according to the complaint, the medicine contains non-natural, artificial, and synthetic ingredients, including melatonin, ascorbic acid, citric acid, and zinc gluconate. (Babb et al v. Zarbee’s, Inc., Case No. 21-cv-1493, S.D.N.Y.)
