Zoom Telephonics and MTRLC

In January 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Zoom Telephonics and MTRLC for allegedly deceptively repackaging used modems in packaging that does not disclose that the modems are used and may not work for customers because the modems are already registered to other people. (Schulze et al v. Zoom Telephonics, Inc. and MTRLC LLC, Case No. 20-cv-10140, D. Mass.)
